Solowheel
This is actually an incredibly feasible mode of transportation. Though unicycles aren’t exactly outselling bicycles right now, the self-balancing Solowheel ($1,795.00) shows true potential in becoming the first non-outrageous personal vehicle in a long time. The instructions are as follows: get on and go. How simple is that? The wheel is powered by a lithium-ion battery and is controlled entirely by leaning (forward to speed up, back to slow down). Turning is done simply by turning your feet. The battery recaptures energy while you go downhill or slow down and fully charges in two hours, giving you 20 minutes of up to 10 miles per hour. Forget walking, go out and get yourself a Solowheel. But remember, never drink and ride.
