How would it feel to be able to say, “Rush hour traffic? Oh, I’ll just fly over it.” Engineers over at ParaJet Automotive thought the same thing and built the SkyCar ($80,000.00). Within three minutes the dune buggy takes from land to air using its parawing for lift. The car is completely street legal so the police can’t give you any trouble…except if you decide to get your adrenaline fix and max out the accelerometer at 140 mph (100 mph in air). It’s creators are embarking on a 40 day, 3,700 mile journey from London to Timbuktu to prove its ability. 40 days may seem like something more fit for the holy savior or Josh Hartnett but consider the fact that you will never have to deal with TSA again.
